We are impassioned braai and BBQ devotees who looked to finding our own supply of wood chunks for Kettle and Kamado style braai's. This was spurred by the fact that the only decent products outside sawdust and shavings were imported. We did some development and settled on the shape and size suitable for all smoking applications; hot or 'Low 'n Slow', even cold smoke for making bacon. After much painstaking and torturous R&D, we settled on Oak being our first goal, finding supply in the Klein Helderberg.
